Landsberg - At the end of the first half of the Bayernliga Süd, the footballers of TSV Landsberg beat second table SV Kirchanschöring 5-1.

In front of 340 spectators, the home side burned off a fireworks display on Saturday and deservedly won in the heights.

After 18 games, the team from coaching team Salemovic / Hutterer is in 5th place in the table and is therefore on target.

During the week there was still bad news for the Lechstädter because goalkeeper Daniel Witetschek broke his ring finger during training on Tuesday. But that's not all: substitute goalkeeper Sebastian Hollenzer was not available due to a ligament injury, so TSV Landsberg put Frank Schmitt between the posts and put Markus Herz on the bench. Both come from the second team of the TSV, whereby the 31-year-old Schmitt found out about his assignment on Wednesday. “Actually, I just wanted to help out a bit and take it easy this season, but I also enjoy the fact that it has turned out that way. I'm happy that I was able to play in a higher class again. "

To anticipate: Frank Schmitt was a sure source of support for the home side and some unfortunate tee-offs at the beginning of the game were not due to the nervousness: "The penalty area was very muddy and handling the ball difficult." the yellow-blacks do not come near his gate at all.

SV Kirchanschöring had only lost once before this game and TSV Landsberg had been without defeat for five games.

So both teams appeared confident.

The guests indicated at the beginning that they were right at the top of the table.

The lively Manuel Omelanowsky appeared twice in front of the goal, but missed the good chances for SVK.

It was then a gift that enabled the home side to set the course for victory: SV keeper Egon Weber let a rather harmless shot by Dennis Hoffmann slip through his hands after 21 minutes to make it 1-0 for TSV. Two minutes later, Steffen Krautschneider was able to use a cross from Date to make it 2-0. So it was all about the momentum of the guests and they struggled to process this one-two punch. TSV striker David Anzenhofer confirms this: “The SV was very organized at the beginning of the game and strong in the duels, but we were efficient. We made two goals out of three chances. And the decisive factor was that we were very good at the back and hardly allowed anything. "

A heated game with many interruptions developed up to half-time and referee Jürgen Steckermeier could not complain about a lack of work. After a rough foul on Dennis Hoffmann and subsequent fights, he showed a sure instinct and left it with yellow cards.

After the break, the TSV burned down a football fireworks display and showed one of its best performances this season. It wasn't the guests who pushed for the next goal, but the hosts left good chances through Date and Anzenhofer. But in the 51st minute, Fabian Lutz took a cross from Krautschneider in an exemplary manner and executed it into the far corner to make it 3-0. "Today a lot went together and it was a successful team performance", Sebastian Schmeiser describes the second 45 minutes. "Of course there is always something to improve and we have allowed a dangerous situation." And from this the 3-1 result by Omelanowsky in the 70th minute.

Was that the start for the guests to catch up and another drama in the 3C-Sportpark? No, because the TSV coaches showed a lucky hand when making substitutions. Manuel Detmar was on the field for just three minutes when he used a pass from the outstanding Krautschneider with his first goal of the season to make it 4-1. Alex Benede came in for Krautschneider in the 85th minute. After ten seconds he picked up a record-breaking yellow card and three minutes later the congratulations from his teammates: He had rounded a free kick from an acute angle to make it 5-1 into the net. His first goal for Landsberg.

The home side missed other good chances, but they generously overlooked that after the game.

Sebastian Schmeiser takes stock of the game and the first half of the season: “I think the 5: 1 is also completely okay in terms of height.

Overall, the first half of the season was mixed and we simply gave away too many points, which shouldn't happen to us with our experience.

If we perform like we do today, we will be very hard to beat and we will move up a little in the table too. "

The next step can be taken on Saturday, because it goes to table neighbor Jahn Regensburg II. A week later, on November 6th, TSV Schwaben Augsburg will be a guest in the 3C-Sportpark at 2pm.

For TSV Landsberg: Schmitt - Lutz, Schmeiser, Wollens, Holdenrieder - Hutterer - Krautschneider (85th Benede), Hoffmann (88th Kollmann), Salemovic (75th Detmar), Date (88th Doqaj) - Anzenhofer (64th) . Fülla).
