Police today (Monday) uncovered in a deliberate and targeted activity against criminal organizations, a number of explosive devices, weapons and drugs in a residence in Bat Yam
- and arrested four suspects in their possession.
Tel Aviv police officers conducted an initiated search at the end of an undercover investigation, which led to the exposure and seizure of various weapons, including a number of explosive devices, a pistol, ammunition and materials suspected of being drug.
As mentioned, the explosives were removed inside a 40-story residential building, at the risk of hundreds of families living there.
Thus, police saboteurs are currently scanning the place, to remove any further suspicion or risk.
The police arrested four suspects, residents of Bat Yam in their 30s, and in accordance with the needs of the investigation, they will be brought to the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court tomorrow for a hearing, with a request to extend their detention.
