Berlin - Sana
Germany was very surprised that the head of the Turkish regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, had created a diplomatic crisis with his statements about the expulsion of its ambassador, along with the ambassadors of nine other countries to Ankara.
German government spokesman Steffen Seibert told reporters, "We are concerned and puzzled by Erdogan's statements, noting that his country and other countries have not received any official notification from the Turkish side, adding that we are closely consulting with the partners concerned with the threat."
The day before yesterday, Erdogan created a diplomatic crisis and ordered the expulsion of the ambassadors of ten countries: Canada, France, Finland, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden and the United States.
