At the time of the facts, Sébastien Jammas, 32 years old today, had been in a relationship with the victim for two years.
He had moved in with her three months ago.

According to the investigation, after an evening with friends where Sébastien Jammas had already hit his partner, the couple returned home around midnight. Asked to come down from his room, the victim's son sees the accused strike and throw his mother to the ground. The teenager leaves again, locks himself up with a helmet on his ears but will however hear "
several episodes
" of beatings and "
death threats
", until 5 am, when the couple goes up to bed, painfully.
After 8:00 am, he is awakened by "
groans, moans
" and complaints from his stepfather, "
who asks Séverine to be silent, because he cannot sleep
".
The accused later asked her to call for help, her mother not breathing.
The man has since been convicted of previous violence against two ex-companions.
The verdict will be delivered on Friday.
