Maccabi Haifa announced today (Monday) that team stopper Ofri Arad is suffering from a tear in his ankle ligaments and will be out for a period of at least three weeks.
Arad, who recently suffered from blatant misfortune, was injured in the team's training session on Friday after he kicked grass and the ankle sprained unusually.
"Ofri is suffering from bad luck this season, but maybe the rest will do him good to recover from everything he went through. No one in the club has any doubt that he will come back from everything stronger," they said in Haifa.
As you may recall, last month Arad's father, who was very attached to him, passed away after a struggle with a serious illness.
Now, came a not-so-simple injury, from which the team brake will have to recover.
