Meretz MK said in opposition to the opposition's motion of no confidence in the plenum: "I will vote for confidence in the government only because the alternative is the ideological descendants of you know who"

The battles in the coalition continue:

MK Musi Raz said today (Monday) regarding the opposition's motion of no confidence in the plenum: "When I see the government's policy in the occupied territories - it is not credible."

Raz added: "This is not a simple government at all, it is 20 degrees to the right. In the occupied territories the situation is deteriorating. Settlements are being built, violence by the army and settlers is rampant. I call on the defense minister - it is your responsibility. I will vote for the government only who will".

Blue and white against Merav Michaeli: "Do not interfere with the war on terror"

Conflict within the coalition - Minister Michaeli criticized Gantz's declaration of Palestinian organizations, in blue and white attacked: "Do not interfere with the war on terror": Transport Minister Merav Michaeli addressed today (Monday) the Labor faction meeting Minister of Defense Gantz's declaration of six Palestinian rights organizations.

Minister Michaeli said of the declaration: "The way it was done damaged the relationship with our great friends. Such a move against organizations that are part of civil society should be taken with reverence. It should not have happened."

As mentioned, the Blue and White Party responded to Michaeli's criticism and said: "We offer Merav Michaeli, who does not know the details, not to interfere with the war on terror."

Asked by Israel Today about the alleged lack of coordination between the State and Defense Ministries regarding the US administration's update on the declaration of terrorist organizations, Lapid said: "The issue of the organizations is at the core of the defense. "This is a decision that should have been made. There are very good and very bad people in these organizations. This is the right decision."

In the last two days, tensions have risen in the coalition following the decision of Defense Minister Bnei Gantz to outlaw six "human rights" organizations and the announcement by Housing Minister Zeev Elkin to build thousands of housing units in Judea and Samaria.

At the same time, despite the sharp frictions and statements, Meretz apparently does not intend to "step up" or dismantle the government.

At the moment, it seems that the intention is to vote together with the coalition in the upcoming elections and to settle for condemnations that are mainly intended to put pressure on the right-wing members of the coalition and calm the "base" of Meretz.
