The fan manufacturer ebm-papst is getting a new boss.

Mulfingen - who previously worked for the automotive supplier ZF, among others, will take over the position of chairman of the management team from November, announced ebm-papst on Monday at the company's headquarters in Mulfingen (Hohenlohekreis).

The 47-year-old succeeds Thomas Wagner, who had led the company on an interim basis since leaving former company boss Stefan Brandl at the beginning of the year.

The 62-year-old Wagner is now vice boss again - a position he had already held under Brandl until he left the company.

Geißdörfer was most recently managing director of the Passau IT company One Logic.
