The total number of ADSL internet gates reserved in various governorates has reached 1,573,337 since the beginning of 2021 until the first of this month.
The Syrian Telecom Company indicated in a report that SANA received a copy of today that there is an increase in the number of reserved gates of 2.36 percent compared to the number of gates during the same period last year, which amounted to 1542846 gates, explaining that this came as a result of the increase in telephone installations.
Regarding sales of telephone numbers, the company indicated in its report that its total sales since the beginning of October of last year until the first of this October amounted to 157,340, including 21,674 in Damascus, 34882 in Damascus countryside, 18299 in Aleppo, 15263 in Homs, 16900 in Hama and 6526 in Daraa. And 12,711 numbers in Tartous, 5717 in Hasaka and 6187 in As-Suwayda, while sales in Quneitra governorate reached 1813, Latakia 15013, Deir ez-Zor 1855, and Raqqa 500.
It is noteworthy that the number of Internet portals that entered service until last August amounted to about 36,082 portals, including 20 thousand portals that were returned to areas liberated from terrorism.
