The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its call on the UN Security Council to take practical steps to implement UN resolutions related to the Palestinian issue, foremost of which is Resolution 2334, which affirms the illegality of settlements and calls for its cessation.
In a statement today, carried by Wafa Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the silence of the international community towards the crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians, noting that it encourages the occupation to persist in its aggressive practices aimed at changing the historical and legal reality existing in occupied Jerusalem and the rest of the West Bank to implement colonial annexation plans and eliminate any chance of establishing a state. independent Palestinian.
The Foreign Ministry pointed out that the occupation continues its open war on the Palestinian presence by expanding settlements and ethnic cleansing operations in Jerusalem, the Jordan Valley and the rest of the West Bank.
