The Head of State must embody the seriousness in the face of opponents in decline of rationality, who take the French for imbeciles.
On the left, Anne Hidalgo wants to double the salaries of teachers, while explaining to us that we must control public spending.
On the right, Valérie Pécresse promises to cut nearly 200,000 civil servant positions while ensuring that we must defend public services.
Not to mention Eric Zemmour, who seeks to capture the concerns of society in post-colonial memorial dramas.
It is as if citizens were reduced to consumers divided into clienteles.
To this contemptuous vision
