In an accident in Pinnow near Schwerin, two pedestrians were hit by a car and injured.
As a police spokesman announced, the driver stated that he was blinded by the low sun on Sunday when turning at a traffic light on federal highway 321.
A 70-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured in the impact.
Pinnow - The child who wanted to pass the street when the traffic light was green also suffered injuries.
Both came to a clinic.
The investigation into the cause of the accident was still ongoing.
