Cuba vacation: Strict entry rules should be relaxed
Entry to Cuba has been possible in principle in the last few months - however, strict test and quarantine measures have been in place so far, which made vacation planning extremely difficult.
Tourists can currently only bypass the quarantine if they
have booked
a room in a
licensed hotel in
advance.
There they have to wait for the result of a PCR test that was carried out at the airport.
According to the Foreign Office, individual travelers have so far had to go into quarantine after arriving at a hotel chosen by the Cuban authorities in order to wait for the results of several corona tests.
