Accompanied by the protest of some demonstrators and a small police operation, the announced evacuation of an apartment in Berlin-Kreuzberg took place.
A bailiff took over the apartment on Mehringdamm on Monday morning, said a police spokesman.
A few dozen people demonstrated on the street.
Some of them sat on the sidewalk in front of the house and tried to block them.

Alliances such as “prevent eviction” and “rent madness” had called for resistance and protest.
“The right to housing continues to be trampled underfoot,” they wrote on Twitter on Monday.
Another small rally against an eviction is planned for Tuesday morning in Adalbertstrasse in Kreuzberg.
In large cities like Berlin, hundreds to thousands of apartments are cleared every year, mostly because the rent is not paid.
