The Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch has completed the rehabilitation of the ambulance department in the modernized medical center in the city of Al-Hasakah, affiliated to the Health Directorate, by installing a number of electrical, health and office equipment.
And the head of the organization’s branch, Ali Mansour, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the rehabilitation process comes within the framework of supporting the health sector in the governorate with the aim of improving the level of health services provided by the updated medical center to the reviewing citizens. A ventilation system, in addition to providing air conditioning, maintaining the electricity network, equipping lighting, providing portable washbasins and office furniture, with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
For his part, the Director of Health, Dr. Issa Khalaf, pointed out the importance of conducting the rehabilitation process for the ambulance department and the equipment that was provided and its role in improving the quality of health services provided by the department to hundreds of visitors daily, which includes various ambulance services for citizens in the city of Hasaka and the surrounding countryside.
It is noteworthy that the number of visitors to the ambulance department in the modernized medical center during the past month amounted to 11,990, who benefited from the medical services it provides.
