The world-wide cinema hit “The Ice Queen” will celebrate its musical premiere in Hamburg on November 8th.
The last rehearsals for the German premiere are currently running in the Stage Theater on the Elbe.
"It's about two strong sisters who overcome evil and whose love leads to happiness returning to their lives in the end," said musical producer Kerstin Schnitzler on Monday in Hamburg.
Hamburg - For the Disney musical, the story of the unequal royal sisters Anna and Elsa and their companions Kristoff, the snowman Olaf and the reindeer Sven were supplemented by new songs.
"This is a big dream that is coming true," said musical actress Celena Pieper, who plays Anna.
At her side is the experienced musical performer Sabrina Weckerlin, who plays Elsa and will sing the Oscar-winning song “Let it go” live on stage.
"The song is pure magic and it is an incredible honor for me to be able to sing it on stage every evening," said Weckerlin.
