Türkheim - A 56-year-old crashed into a tree at Türkheim yesterday evening.
The woman was seriously injured and her dog died.
According to the police, alcohol was involved.
On Staatstraße 2025 (near Schönbrunn), the woman had turned right onto the banquet in a left curve and then collided head-on with a tree.
The car then threw onto the opposite lane and from there into the ditch.
The 56-year-old driver was initially trapped, but was rescued from the vehicle wreck thanks to some first aiders and the Türkheim fire department.
She was taken to hospital with the Sanka with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The completely destroyed vehicle had to be towed.
The Unterallgäuer's dog was also in the car, he did not survive the accident.
As the police also reported, the evidence that the 56-year-old drove under the influence of alcohol increased when the accident was recorded.
Therefore, a blood sample was arranged and her driver's license secured.
The woman is now being investigated for being drunk in traffic.
The state road was closed for a total of one and a half hours.
