The city of Nuremberg is still giving grants for taxi rides to the vaccination centers until Saturday.
So far, people over 80 have received a voucher worth ten euros.
Nuremberg - Saturday (October 30th) is the last day on which the city of Nuremberg * subsidizes taxi trips to the vaccination centers.
So far, people over 80 who are not covered by health insurance have received a voucher worth ten euros.
Since vaccinations against the coronavirus * are now mainly in medical practices, the subsidy ends, as the city writes in a message.

Nuremberg: Thousands of people used taxi vouchers
The subsidized journeys were made possible, among other things, by the cooperation with the Nuremberg taxi headquarters.
Generous donations from companies and foundations also supported the project.
The Sparda-Bank laid the foundation with a donation of over 25,000 euros.
The city then doubled the amount from foundation funds.
Around 15,000 people over the age of 80 have made use of the offer.
The city sees the campaign as an important contribution in the fight against the corona pandemic.
"Vaccination protects against infection with the virus and is an act of solidarity," emphasized Mayor Marcus König (CSU).
