The treatment that the personalization trend receives, usually benefits the consumer.
This is evident in the fields of medicine, fashion, streaming, nutrition, and also when it comes to home design.
The consumer mindset today is a kind of ON DEMAND, on demand, when and how it suits me.
The manufacturers, for their part, are constantly sharpening their adaptation to the new personal reality.
Nirlat's new fan booklet,
One of the examples that has just come out, with the opening of the "Fresh Paint" design fair, came from the worlds of color.
Anyone who has renovated or painted a wall in their home is familiar with the traditional fan of shades provided by the paint companies, with the help of which they choose the shades for the house.
There is no architect or private client who builds or renovates who is unfamiliar with this fan: it is quite easy to use and offers a wide variety, but sometimes too wide.
After all, it is not enough to choose one shade - the chosen shade must correspond with other shades around it to create harmony, and they do not necessarily have to be shades of color on the wall.
It can be the flowerpot you place against the background of the painted wall, your sofa or any other colorful item that is in the space.
So how in hundreds of tones can a private customer know how to produce the exact color palette?
It can be said that this is an almost impossible task.

Following this, Nirlat decided to allow the user to create his own color palette.
The colors in the new collection were divided into three different families, and they were translated into a three-part booklet, each of which allows for separate browsing under the MIX & MATCH concept.
In each of the parts the three families appear, with the upper part uniting the light colors, the middle the intermediate colors and the lower part the dark colors.
In fact, the matching work between the shades has already been done by professionals so that each shade from a particular family will match, harmoniously, to any shade from the same family, in the other parts of the booklet.

For example, if I chose a light shade from one family, I could choose any intermediate shade and dark shade that belong to the same family in the other two parts of the book.
In this way the user creates a custom color palette, and he does not have to be a designer or a professional in the field to know that there is a match between the colors he has chosen.

The way the new fan booklet is used is somewhat reminiscent of the three-part books that were common when we were little, where it was possible to combine head, body and legs, and create our own characters in different looks.
To illustrate how it was used, a collaboration was created with local designers exhibiting at the fair, which resulted in colorful compositions under the MIX & MATCH concept.
