The MTR stated that the train service on the East Rail Line was blocked due to an attempt to enter the track from the flyover between Fanling Station and Tai Wo Station, affecting the safety of train operations.

The MTR is now providing free shuttle buses to and from Tai Po Market Station and Fanling Station, passing through various stations along the way.
