Hundreds of Palestinians today, during vigils in areas of the West Bank and the besieged Gaza Strip, in support of the Palestinian prisoners, called on the international community to intervene to stop the continuous crimes of the occupation against them.
Wafa Agency stated that the participants in the vigils called by the Palestinian national forces in front of the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Bethlehem and Jenin in the West Bank and Gaza Strip raised the Palestinian flag and pictures of the six prisoners on hunger strike, calling on the Red Cross to pressure the occupation to visit the striking and sick prisoners and to intervene to save their lives. Deliberate medical negligence, which is a slow murder by the occupation authorities against the prisoners.
Six Palestinian prisoners in the occupation detention camps continue their hunger strike amid a grave danger to their lives. They are Kayed Phosphos, who has been on strike for 103 days, Miqdad for 96 days, Alaa Al-Araj for 79 days, Hisham Abu Hawash for 70 days, Shadi Abu Aker for 62 days, and Ayyad Al Harimi for 31 days.
