The Forestry and Fire Monitoring Platform of the General Authority for Remote Sensing warned that most of the forest areas in northwestern Syria will be affected by the high levels of the fire risk index tomorrow, Tuesday.
The head of the platform at the commission, Dr. Roza Karmouqa, explained in a statement to SANA that the indicators of fire risk continue to decline today, Monday, compared to what they were yesterday, Sunday, as the indicators of medium severity affect most of the forest sites in northwest Syria, to return and rise clearly on Tuesday, as the area increases Affected forests with high risk indicators.
Qamraqa noted the efforts of forestry, forest protection and civil defense workers for their permanent readiness and readiness to protect forests, indicating that the preparation of maps is carried out in cooperation with the General Directorate of Meteorology, calling for any fire to be reported as soon as it breaks out on the free numbers 188 and 113.
