“Hubert ohne Staller” starts a new season on ARD in January - but fans will probably miss a cult star in the meantime.
Wolfratshausen - “Hubert without Staller” is one of the most popular TV series with Bavarian local flavor alongside the ZDF “Rosenheim Cops”.
Now the series is celebrating a double anniversary: "10 seasons in 10 years", writes Das Erste on its homepage.
Details about the new season can now also be found there, the 16 episodes of which will be broadcast on Wednesdays at 6:50 p.m. from January 12th.

And actually not much changes in the series.
But one thing: a cult star will probably disappear from the series for a long time.
We are talking about Monika Gruber alias Barbara Hansen, who, as the owner of the Rattlinger bakery, is a constant at “Hubert ohne Staller”.
Suddenly someone else will be standing behind their counter - who is also well known to fans: Yazid, played by Hannes Ringlstetter.
Hansen is saying goodbye to a longer vacation, according to the preview.

So neither how long actress Gruber has been absent from the series.
Still why exactly.
When the Stockl actress Marisa Burger was sick with the “Rosenheim Cops”, the makers came up with something to make her appear in the series anyway.
With Gruber and “Hubert without Staller” it is now solved differently.
After all, it's just a break and not a farewell: “Barbara Hansen goes on trips in the new episodes and temporarily hands the 'Rattlinger' over to Yazid,” writes ARD.

The rest of the team remains constant: Franz Hubert and Reimund Girwidz (Christian Tramitz and Michael Brandner) investigate, district manager Sabine Kaiser (Katharina Müller-Elmau) keeps a watchful eye on everything.
And Martin Riedl (Paul Sedlmeir), Christina Bayer (Mitsou Jung) and coroner Dr.
Caroline Fuchs (Susu Padotzke) are of course also there.
