The operation of a suspected "lateral thinker" school in Schechen (Rosenheim district) has consequences for the teacher: Veronika G. is threatened with disciplinary proceedings.

She founded the company as a teacher at a state school on sick leave.

Glonn / Schechen - In the idyllic learning oasis, school life only blossomed for two weeks: On September 22nd, the authorities closed a private school that had just been founded in an abandoned farm.

The alleged headmistress was Veronika G., who is now being investigated.

He could confirm that "the Bavarian State Prosecutor's Office - disciplinary authority - is currently examining the initiation of disciplinary proceedings against the civil servant who appeared as the head of the facility," said Chief Prosecutor Michael Pahlke.

“Querdenker” school closed: 50 children from first to ninth grade taught on the farm

Veronika G. is actually a teacher at the Glonn elementary and middle school (Ebersberg district), but "has been on sick leave for several months," as the spokesman for the government of Upper Bavaria, Wolfgang Rupp, confirmed. That didn't stop the teacher from taking alternative action. She taught around 50 children from grades 1 to 9 on the farm. The contents of the lessons are not known, but Rupp calls the school “an alternative with a tendency towards the esoteric”.

Veronika G. describes herself as an evolutionary pedagogue and developed lively activities as an independent learning advisor, offering lectures and advising students with problems.

“Just make an appointment with me and you will see that after one session nothing is like it used to be”, she advertises on her website.

She also wrote a book on "Learning Problems Due to Pandemic Measures".

“Querdenker” school closed: networking meeting of interested parents in the amusement park

She networked with like-minded people on the Internet.

The platform was a kind of blog, on which parents who were interested in establishing “learning oases” and “learning groups” as an alternative to the conventional school system had been exchanging ideas under the unsuspicious heading “Südostbayernaktiv”.

There was a networking meeting in an amusement park near Wasserburg, where the participants made each other recognizable by means of attached smileys, almost conspiratorially.

At the meeting it was agreed to regulate the details of setting up schools such as “finances”, “legal matters” and “food” via the Telegram messenger service.

"Querdenker" school closed: those involved did not "want to attract much attention"

However, other topics were also discussed: life without a 5G network, founding regional swap groups, not shopping on the Internet - building a parallel world, so to speak.

“Stay under the radar.

Don't attract much attention.

Remain normal, ”is the admonition in a leaflet.

One of the participants is called Herbert and is from Gstadt am Chiemsee, where he also wanted to found an alternative school.

He has nothing to do with imperial citizens or esotericists, emphasizes the man who describes himself as a “devout Christian” of a free church.

He himself leaves his son, a first grader, at home - the child should not be tested.

“Querdenker” school closed: Father now prefers to teach his son at home

Herbert is unimpressed by the announcement by the Ministry of Education that such children are considered truants after the autumn break.

“These are threats that are supposed to scare you,” he says.

He will continue to teach his son at home.

Because the school did not come about.

“The matter has pretty much fallen asleep,” he tells our newspaper.

The parents of two students in the Schechen short-term school are now being investigated - they simply canceled their children from normal school attendance without any further excuse.
