The Syrian General Insurance Corporation, in cooperation with the Syndicate of Agricultural Engineers, launched a service (life insurance) for retired members of the Syndicate.
The Corporation signed with the Syndicate a life insurance contract for retired members with the renewal of the health insurance contract. The Director General of the Corporation, Dr. Nizar Zayoud, explained that there will soon be a health insurance policy for all retirees, expressing their readiness to sign new contracts with the Syndicate related to insurance on the property belonging to them from all risks. .
In a statement to SANA, Zayoud indicated that the insurance reality is constantly improving, and the institution is keen to launch new services in this sector to meet the needs of its insured.
For her part, the head of the Syndicate of Agricultural Engineers, Dr. Rama Aziz, explained that the goal of the contract is to reduce the living and health burdens of the retired union members, as the contract includes life insurance, accidents and partial and total disability under the same health insurance terms and at a symbolic cost.
Aziz pointed out that the health insurance service for retirees was previously expanded to include non-working engineers, and then their families were included, pointing out that new contracts are being signed to expand the union's insurance umbrella.
