A young man miraculously got away with minor injuries in a serious accident.

But first he has to surrender his driver's license - the cause of the crash was a catastrophic combination.

Munich - When the first people involved came to the accident on Sunday night, they initially thought of two cars involved.

Two Audi A4s of the same color on two trees - and counted on occupants who were seriously injured.

But it was different: a car, but torn in two halves, with a trunk protruding from about the middle, on the passenger side and at the height of the back seat.

And the driver (29) miraculously survived the crash with minor injuries.

Serious Audi accident on a district road: the driver himself gets out of the completely destroyed vehicle

He had previously been traveling from Stephansposching (Deggendorf district *) on Kreisstraße 13 in the direction of Plattling.

At around 10 p.m., the local lost control of the Audi, he turned right and rammed two trees on a slope.

The body wrapped itself around a trunk, the bark still touched the driver's seat in which the young man was sitting.

But he could get out of the wreck himself.

But it was immediately clear that he could scrap his car - a total write-off, the towing service was responsible for the last drive of the Audi A4.

Serious Audi accident on a district road: Police detect high alcohol levels in a 29-year-old

When the accident was recorded, the Plattling police officers found the 29-year-old to smell alcohol.

An alcohol test afterwards showed a high value, which, according to the police, was well above the limit for absolute inability to drive, i.e. over 1.1 per mille.

For this reason, a blood sample was taken from the 29-year-old from Plattling.

In addition to the alcohol, a high speed was probably also a reason for the accident, a catastrophic combination.

Criminal proceedings await the driver involved in the accident and his driver's license is gone for now.

But that should have been less important to him on Sunday night, given the terrible pictures of his wrecked car on two trees.
