Witness Mrs. Wu was on board at the time. She told that the ferry was preparing to dock at the time of the incident. She was looking at her mobile phone and didn't know it, but suddenly there was a loud noise and a collision occurred when the ferry was suspected of docking.

Suspected mechanical failure caused ship collision

New Ferry said that a "Sin Fai 18" sailing from Central Pier 6 to Mui Wo at 7:30pm, when it berthed at Mui Wo Wharf at about 8pm, it was suspected of a mechanical malfunction and touched the edge of the pier. , 5 passengers suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment.

The remaining passengers have disembarked.
