The Council of Ministers, in its weekly session today, approved an integrated plan for marketing the citrus season, and agreed to grant Syrian Trade 6 billion pounds / 3 of them for marketing citrus fruits and 3 / for marketing apples.
The plan includes preparing refrigerators and storage warehouses, and acquiring the largest possible quantity to put it in the Syrian trade halls, in order to achieve a profitable profit for farmers, and present it to citizens at the lowest costs, in addition to preparing the sorting and packaging centers necessary to export the surplus.
The council assigned the Ministry of Public Works and Housing to invest its mechanisms to transport products and seasons free of charge from production sites to consumption areas.
The Council also agreed to grant Syrian Trade a financial advance of 30 billion pounds to secure basic materials for the appointments management funding centers in all governorates.
