An 83-year-old driver caused a serious traffic accident in Euskirchen on Tuesday.
There were a total of three seriously injured, five people sustained minor injuries, said a police spokeswoman in the early evening.
According to initial investigations, the senior was an "internal emergency".
Euskirchen - According to the information, the 83-year-old, in whose car there was also a passenger, first collided with a cyclist, then hit a parked car and then drove into a bus.
The seriously injured - including the person who caused the accident and the cyclist - were taken to the hospital.
The police are now determining the exact course of the accident.
The area around the accident site was closed for around an hour and a half.
