After the funding has been withdrawn, the municipality will have to shell out around five million euros for the children's home. In the case of the building, however, the architect Pfletscher held out the prospect of potential savings. "It won't be half a million, but it will be in the six-figure range," he announced. One possibility is to replace the previously used aluminum windows with wood-aluminum windows. The areas of earthworks, windows, insulation and possibly also facade design offer savings potential. In addition, the landscape architect must be spoken to. In addition, there is still no energy requirement calculation.
Martin Bauer (CSU) asked for a detailed breakdown of costs by the next meeting in November, also with regard to the planned ventilation system. His parliamentary group colleague Martin Schwarzenbeck vehemently demanded “to cut costs, even if some things might not be so nice. We have to build a cheap kindergarten. That has to be said in public, ”he said to Pfletscher. The planner didn't let that sit on him. “I have to resist the fact that we are planning any luxurious things here. We are planning a standard, mediocre kindergarten, ”he clarified. Until the next meeting, however, savings opportunities should be examined and identified.
Martin Többen from the Munich engineering office of the same name also presented the building technology including the ventilation system. The children's house is connected to the pellet heating system in the sports hall. Underfloor heating is used for heating and there are two distributors per floor. Since more than 30 meals are consumed every day in the children's house, an extra fat separator is installed. Corresponding connections for water, waste water and rainwater are also being laid. There is also an extra water level meter at the sports hall. The wastewater is then fed into the existing wastewater sewer. The entire water network is laid by means of a ring main. A water heater is installed at each wash basin.
"That's an enormous amount of electricity," remarked Robert Riexinger (CSU).
Többen agreed, but you save the circulation pump and do not need a water supply.
This has advantages in terms of water hygiene, because Legionella would not form.
In the case of ventilation, there are 9,000 cubic meters that have to be converted per hour.
"That is a huge value," said building authority boss Erhard Huber.
The amount of air is normally set at 20 cubic meters per child per hour.
"The funding guidelines say 25, so the device has now got a little big," said Többen.
It is housed in the basement.
“What does a ventilation device cause in terms of maintenance costs?” Asked Markus Reicheneder (FWG).
Többen could not answer that exactly, but will provide these numbers later.
It was also discussed whether a separate ventilation device was needed for the kitchen.
“There is a caterer,” said Schwarzenbeck.
However, they thaw on site, cut vegetables and cook rice and pasta themselves.
That is why two combi steamers are planned, which just need a separate ventilation device.
Councilor Bauer wanted an alternative calculation.
“I think it's absolutely right and important that we install a ventilation system,” he clarified.
But the kitchen should be easy to use.
Could the exhaust and supply air not be controlled via the large ventilation system?
Markus Hermansdorfer (WGN) would like the warm exhaust air from the refrigerator to be fed into the main ventilation system.
