The case first made headlines two and a half years ago - but it has not yet been resolved.
Since yesterday, the district court has tried the second attempt to convict the millionaire thieves.
The verdict is not even expected to fall until June 2022.

It is also still unclear who the real head of the gang is. The public prosecutor's office lists Silvia F. (58) as the main suspect. She has been with Commerzbank since 1992 and most recently looked after wealthy clients from Russia. At the end of November 2016, the bank employee had processed the order of a millionaire: Evgeniya B. had deposited a total of 4.6 million euros - the money was distributed among four lockers. But
a year and a half later, the money was gone

According to the indictment, Silvia F. passed on secret information from the bank to a gang that includes her son Luca (31).
He is said to have planned the theft and acted "in the background".
In the bank itself, as one of the masked perpetrators, Besart H. (27) is said to have been.

She was also charged in the first trial of the theft of millions, which began in January 2020, but did not appear for her testimony.
Judge Gilbert Wolf then stayed the proceedings.
It has been restarted since yesterday.
But Wolf announced: “So far we have not received any feedback from the lady.” Only on November 16, the judge said of the proceedings, “we will then see where we are”.

Theft in Munich: Defendant is employed again at Commerzbank after custody
Silvia F. and her son did not provide any information yesterday.
For Besart H., attorney Adam Ahmed said: "He has nothing to do with the allegations." Explosive: All three defendants have been at large after a brief custody in spring 2019 - Silvia F. even officially re-employed at the bank.
But: "Ms. F. is currently released from work and has never resumed her work after the termination of the dismissal protection process," says Commerzbank spokeswoman Renate Christ.
