The Public Establishment for Drinking Water in Al-Hasakah carried out the necessary maintenance of the water network in order to improve the reality of water pumping to subscribers in the city of Al-Hasakah and its surroundings, in the context of addressing complaints related to the low level of water pumping.

In a statement to SANA reporter, the Director of the Corporation, Mahmoud El-Okla, stated that the maintenance workshops replaced a number of connections of the sub-networks in the city center and the surrounding neighborhoods, which were suffering from blockage, in addition to strengthening the water pumping in order to ensure that it reaches the ends of the lines and high homes, indicating that the Corporation continues to carry out maintenance of the lines that suffer from weakness and address the complaints of citizens in this regard.

Al-Okla pointed out that the reality of pumping water in the Allouk project is stabilizing after the maintenance procedures that are being implemented, which include water wells and horizontal pumps, indicating that the number of working wells in the project is currently 24 wells, in addition to 5 horizontal pumps that produce a daily amount of water ranging between 60 and 70 thousand meters.
