The head of the Lebanese Democratic Party, Talal Arslan, affirmed that Syria has won its war against terrorism, which has been targeting it for nearly 10 years, and that all bets to bring it down have failed.
In an interview with Al-Mayadeen TV this evening, Arslan said that the withdrawal of the American occupation forces from Syrian territory is an absolute necessity.
On the Lebanese issue, Arslan saw that there are regional breakthroughs, despite the heated up of some files now.
Regarding the government's ability to solve the country's deepening economic crises, Arslan expressed his lack of optimism about the government's ability to provide solutions to crises, pointing out at the same time that the most it can do is to organize parliamentary elections.
