The Central District Attorney's Office today (Tuesday) filed an indictment in the Rehovot Magistrate's Court against Susie Levy Aloni (49) from Rishon Lezion, for several offenses of assaulting toddlers.
This, after during her work as an assistant at a nursery in Ness Ziona, she attacked children aged one and a half to two years, who were under her care.
According to the indictment, filed by attorney Omer Segal-Rosenbaum, the defendant worked as an assistant at the "Milky Way" daycare center from 2017, when during her work she attacked toddlers who were under her care at the daycare center. The indictment lists five charges relating to the assault of five toddlers. On a number of different dates each.
For example, she forcibly pulled the toddlers 'hands and feet, pushed them, lifted them and threw them on a mattress, and pressed the toddlers' heads firmly to the mattress.
She also pulled them in a way that caused their head to be thrown on the mattress.
In one case, a toddler spun in the air before slamming it into a mattress, and also forcibly pulled one of the toddlers onto the mattress each time the toddler tried to get up.
In other cases, she leaned on her body on toddlers who were lying on mattresses in the garden.
According to the indictment, in 2018 during her work at the daycare, the defendant laid children on their bellies, pressed their bodies to the mattress, threw a child forcefully on a mattress, pressed their heads to the mattress, slapped a child hard, hit one in the buttocks, and more.
