A “possible future foreign minister” should be expected to be knowledgeable.
Ernst and Ramsauer referred to a response from the federal government to a request from the left-wing politician on October 11th.
In it, the Federal Ministry of Economics replied to the question about the current price drivers for gas and whether the government sees signs of non-compliance with contractual obligations by Russian energy suppliers that various factors are currently clashing that would have led to a significant price increase.

Baerbock wants to prevent Nordstream 2 - committee chairmen over criticism
"The high demand for natural gas in particular requires that Nordstream 2 be put into operation quickly," Ernst and Ramsauer explain.
