GAP - People in need of care with dementia, mental illnesses or intellectual disabilities usually have a significant general need for supervision and care. Your supply situation in inpatient care is predominantly seen as in need of improvement. So that more people can be trained as care assistants and people with dementia receive more support, the Maltese will again be offering two weekend courses from December to qualify as care assistants.

So that more people can be trained as care assistants and people with dementia receive more support, the Maltese will again be offering two weekend courses from December to qualify as care assistants.

Advanced module with qualifications: care assistant for nurses / care workers from December 4th to February 6th

In order to train nurses / nursing assistants, the Maltese are offering a compact course with 60 teaching units to qualify as a care assistant according to § 53c / 43b (formerly § 87b) from December.

This course will take place on the weekend and will end on February 6, 2022. Those interested in the advanced module for the care assistant must meet the following requirements: Completed training as a nurse assistant.

The course costs 332.80 euros.

Like all social care courses in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, this course is AZAV-certified and can be funded through the Employment Agency upon application.


Compact course without prior qualification: Supervision assistant from December 4th to June 26th

In order to train interested people without prior qualifications, the Maltese will be offering a course to qualify as a care assistant according to § 53c / 43b from December 4th. The course always takes place on the weekend from 9:00 am to 5:15 pm and lasts until June 26, 2022. The course costs are 959.99 euros. Like all social care courses in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, this course with 180 teaching units is AZAV-certified and can be funded through the Employment Agency upon application.

Those interested in training as a care assistant must meet the following requirements: Physically and mentally suitable for a job in nursing and good spoken and written German language skills.

Both courses take place as a face-to-face event at the Malteser Hilfsdienst eV office, Burgstrasse 15, in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, in compliance with hygiene and distance rules.
