The chairman of the Committee for Religious Services, MK Yulia Malinowski, is coming out with unprecedented sharpness against the Chief Rabbinate, against the background of further discussions leading up to the approval of the kosher reform.

In an interview with Radio North, she harshly attacked the rabbinate, claiming that its people were motivated by self-interested motives.

"I understand that the rabbinate is screaming at Gueld because they have moved the cheese. And they do not like it, they are not used to the State of Israel daring to mess with them, we dare and we will do it and we will go far. I am not afraid of that. Along with the right to choose and open the market to competition. "

"This is not Israbloff," she said in response to a question from the interviewee as to whether the reform would indeed work properly.

"There will be corporations, there will be religious councils that I have left in the field. All these practices that we hear from interest groups is because there is a mountain of money there and they do not like anyone entering this field. So we will enter, and enter their mother's mother."

MK Malinowski did not spare harsh words from Likud members either. She praised the people of Shas and Torah Judaism, but claimed that "I can not say this about the Likud. "They are addicted to power. It hurts their stomachs. Even when you do not agree with something in the Knesset, you need to know how to proceed."

Malinowski's remarks regarding the rabbinate were heard during the discussion held today (Tuesday) in the Religious Services Committee, by MK Shlomo Karai (Likud) and caused a stir.

"Shame and disgrace," angered Knesset members from the opposition.

Earlier today, they were outraged on social media about a video that the Knesset member uploaded for ticking, in which she waved off kosher in various Badatz with a wave of her hand and marked a kind of goal - kosher under her leadership.

The Committee for Religious Services is advancing towards the approval of the kosher reform, but the opposition today managed to approve a number of reservations to the law.

Among other things, religious councils were also allowed to grant kosher certificates, a reservation by MK Uri Maklev from Torah Judaism.
