The health authorities in Rhineland-Palatinate registered 734 new corona infections (as of 2.10 p.m.).
7554 people are currently proven to be infected with the Sars-CoV-2 virus.
The number of Covid-19 patient deaths since the pandemic began rose to 4,070, four more than on Monday.
