Today, Tuesday, October 26th, this value is 94.3 - and therefore below 100 for the first time in over a week. The catch: The messages from the city did not reach the RKI, so the value is clearly too low and actually only a six-day incidence.
In any case, the city of Munich reports 484 new corona cases.
As is now customary, most of them are late registrations - a total of 435 in number.
As a result, the seven-day incidence calculated by the Bavarian State Office for Health and Food Safety for the state capital is 119.7.
So it is more than 25 points higher than that of the RKI.
Incidence of vaccinated at 62.0
It is interesting to look at the incidence differentiated according to the vaccination status of the infected.
According to the city of Munich, this value is 310.1 for the unvaccinated.
In the case of fully vaccinated people, the incidence in Munich is now 62.0.
The city uses data from the previous week here, as the vaccination status cannot always be clearly clarified when a case is first reported.
6830 new first vaccinations in one week
In the meantime, 65.4 percent of Munich residents have been vaccinated against the coronavirus, 61.4 percent are fully immunized.
A total of 1,886,365 vaccinations were carried out in Munich, 973,051 of which were first vaccinations and 913,314 were second vaccinations.
According to this, 6830 new first vaccinations were added within a week.
Hospital occupancy remains stable
Currently (as of October 26th) there are 154 beds in Munich's hospitals with confirmed COVID-19 cases, 47 of which are intensive care beds (Intensive Care Unit, ICU) and 3 beds in intensive care (Intermediate Care, IMC).
The number of occupied intensive care beds has been quite stable in the past few weeks, and has even fallen slightly compared to mid-September.
