This increased the value compared to the previous day (4.0 percent).

A corona warning level is reached in Lower Saxony if the hospitalization value (hospital admissions) and at least one of the two other measures (newly infected, intensive care beds) exceed the threshold values defined in the ordinance.
For example, the value six must be exceeded for the leading indicator of hospitalization so that warning level one can possibly be declared.
The warning levels are proclaimed partly by the state, partly by the districts or urban districts.
The prerequisite for this is that the respective values exceed the thresholds for five days in a row.
