Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel condemned the sabotage role played by representatives of the US Embassy in Havana, stressing that his country will not stand idly by over this American behavior.
"The US diplomatic representatives meet with opponents of the Cuban revolution at the embassy headquarters in Havana and provide them with technical and financial support," Cannell said in a tweet on Twitter, adding that "the US embassy in Cuba is determined to continue its subversive role to undermine the internal order in our country."
Cannell stressed that his country will not stand idly by in the face of this American behavior, stressing that Cuba has a strong determination to confront and condemn the American actions.
Cuba has been subjected to an unjust economic embargo imposed by the United States for nearly 60 years due to its policies rejecting the attempts of exclusivity and American hegemony, and it is considered the longest embargo imposed in modern history.
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez confirmed yesterday the increasing sabotage role of the US embassy in the country, declaring his country's determination to confront these US hostile moves.
