A car driver drove a pony in front of him in the Bad Bergzabern community.
As the police announced on Tuesday, the man was in the Oberhausen community when he met two strollers with children who had a pony with them and were running in front of him.
Bad Bergzabern - The driver in a hurry braked on demand, but still grazed the animal with the car.
"When driving on, the driver pushed the pony a few meters in front of him until the group of people with the pony could move to the side," the police said.
Then the still unknown driver drove on.
"The license plate is known," said a police spokesman.
The driver must now expect a complaint about coercion.
