The demand for new or reactivated railway stops was discussed again and again in the district.
The latest initiative comes from the SPD parliamentary group.
As part of the regional train study, it was also examined which potential train stops seem most sensible.
The evaluation scheme yielded particularly good evaluations for the Hegge, Seifen, Immenstadt-Schulzentrum and Sonthofen-Rieden stops.
The district council spoke out in favor of an “expression of will”, which will be addressed to the BEG together with the municipalities concerned and which will initiate the further examination of the four railway stops.
