During a press conference devoted to the action of the government in matters of security, the Minister of the Interior underlined that it was “
the third time
” that he addressed a letter in this direction to the EELV mayor of Lyon , Grégory Doucet.
In this letter which AFP was aware of, Gérald Darmanin recalls that "
the State is ready to co-finance
surveillance
systems
" and insists on "
the importance of benefiting from extensive video protection coverage, both for security inhabitants than for those who ensure their protection every day
”.

Speaking during his press conference to the mayors in general and to that of Lyon "

", Gérald Darmanin considered that it was necessary "to

Monday evening, in the district of Duchère, three police officers from the anti-crime brigade (Bac) were targeted while they were monitoring, according to the minister, a point of deal.
