The artist HA Schult has set up his new sculpture "Wertgigant" in front of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament in Düsseldorf.
The five meter high work of art is made of electronic waste - including old washing machines, laptops, microwaves and vacuum cleaners.
According to the artist, it is meant to allude to the throw-away mentality and pollution.
