The Mining, Chemical and Energy Industrial Union (IG BCE) has confirmed its chairman for a fourth term.
Michael Vassiliadis received 97.4 of the valid votes at the congress in Hanover on Tuesday, as the union announced.
The 57-year-old has been chairman of the second largest industrial union in Germany after IG Metall since 2009.

It takes place every four years and is the highest decision-making body of the union based in Hanover.
