Four accidents caused by wildlife within an hour: at least for the drivers concerned, the crashes ended lightly.

- The series of wildlife accidents in the Upper Isar Valley just doesn't stop: on Monday evening alone, four more occurred within an hour.
For the people affected, the crashes ended at least lightly.
It started at 7.15 p.m. on Bundesstraße 2 near Mittenwald at the level of the Brunnsteinhütte hiking car park.
There an Isartaler (36) steered towards the border crossing.
Suddenly a doe crossed the lane and crashed into the car. The animal then perished.

Shortly before 8 p.m. there was another collision between a car and a doe - this time on the B 2 near Krüner Barmsee.
This time a 73-year-old local driver got away with the horror.
Almost at the same time, fate also took its course on the B 2, this time at Bärnbichl.
Again a doe paid for the collision with a car with her life.
The 32-year-old car driver from Holzkirchen was uninjured.
This creepy series came to a sad conclusion at 8:15 p.m. on Staatsstrasse 2542 on Schmalensee Heights.
This time a 56-year-old local rammed a deer with her car, which then fled towards Hoher Brendten.
The police contacted the responsible hunting tenant to search.
Property damage is around 18,000 euros - luckily nobody was injured
These four accidents resulted in total damage of around 18,000 euros.
It was significantly more on Monday morning when a crossing deer on the B 2 between Gerold and Klais even blocked the main road.
So October is increasingly becoming the focus of wildlife accidents.
It had crashed six times in two weeks at the beginning of this month.
Even then, Mittenwald's police chief Hubert Hohenleitner felt compelled to point out the current rutting season.
