The Northern District Attorney's Office filed an indictment today (Tuesday) against a resident of Afula (30), after he was arrested on suspicion of abducting his wife and threatening her due to her desire to separate from him.
He was charged with kidnapping and threats.
In addition, the police submitted a request for his arrest until the end of the proceedings against him.
According to the indictment, the woman informed the husband that she was leaving the house with the children and moving into her parents' house.
The angry husband came to the parents' house, and asked her to go out and talk to him.
At one point he walked away with her father and brother who were at the scene, snatched her cell phone, shoved her into his vehicle and began driving away.
Her parents immediately called police and reported the abduction.
Large police forces began searches, and shortly afterwards the vehicle in which the woman was located in the city's industrial area was located.
The suspect escaped from the vehicle, and was captured shortly thereafter.
