Wolfsburg's interim coach Michael Frontzeck is satisfied with the first training appearances of his team under him as boss.
“We had two high-intensity units that I really liked,” the 57-year-old was quoted by the “Sportbuzzer” on Tuesday.
"The boys pulled along well."
Wolfsburg - Frontzeck is to lead the team of the Bundesliga soccer team until the Lower Saxony found a long-term successor for Mark van Bommel.
Candidates include ex-Bremen Florian Kohfeldt, Dortmund's technical director Edin Terzic and former Schalke coach Domenico Tedesco.
VfL parted ways with van Bommel on Sunday.
Frontzeck was assistant coach under the Dutchman.
