The Permanent Representative of Palestine to the United Nations in Geneva and other international institutions, Ibrahim Khreisheh, denounced the violations and continuing crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people.
In letters he addressed to the High Commissioner for Human Rights, the President of the Human Rights Council and the International Red Cross regarding the escalation of the Israeli occupation and its crimes against the Palestinian people in all aspects of life, Khreisheh stressed that these violations will be included in the work of the International Fact-Finding Committee to investigate them, according to Wafa news agency.
Khreisheh pointed out that the fact-finding committee monitors, records, documents and investigates violations of the occupation to present its first report next June to the Human Rights Council and the United Nations General Assembly to determine the mechanism that can be followed.
On May 27, the United Nations Human Rights Council announced the formation of an international commission of inquiry into the violations of the Israeli occupation in all the Palestinian territories.
