It is understood that a worker was dismissed by the contractor yesterday. When he returned to the site this morning, he found that his personal belongings had been abandoned on the pavement outside the site and locked the gate to prevent entry. The workers were emotionally excited and walked out of the road to protest.
Some workers said that the major contractor Paul Y-Able Joint Venture and the second contract on the site did not reach a consensus. The workers were paid 7 days a month, or they had disputes over the last salary.
